Separation systems for packings
In the field of separating packed products,
Singer & Sohn has
developed a completely new system. The system is equipped with a special belt which permits separation in
a very easy and cost-effective way. The principle is based on small
rollers which are driven in the actual separating area. As the products
bear on the rollers, they are separated by the rotation. The product
can also be backed up on the belt without being damaged by grit, as the
rollers are free-wheeling in the back-up area.
The separation system is available both as a straight conveyor belt and
as a curved belt. Arrangement and condition of the rollers can be
chosen and will be especially adjusted to the product. It´s field of
application are packed products with a flat surface. The major
advantage of this system is the reduction of interruptions, as
separation and backing up are carried out by one continous belt and
therefore no interfering transfer points and drives are required.
A
further advantage of the new line is the construction without a return
belt run. Thereby a lower installation height is achieved than with
conventional conveyors.
The new system from Singer & Sohn will be
individually fitted to your products and requirements.
