Product feeding to slicer.
For long product bars with big diameters in the production of sausage and meat products, Singer & Sohn has a handling system for the connection to the slicer in its program.
The adaptor is variable and can be matched to the product and the specific requirements. The grab and also the product guidance are adjusted to the bars in round or angled shape as well.
To take the system into operation a trolley filled with products has to be positioned at the pick-up station.
By starting the handling system, the product bars are de-stacked out of the trolley continuously, transferred to a conveyor belt and transported to a manual workplace where, for example, the sausage casing is removed by hand.
Subsequently, the finished product bar is delivered to the slicer by a further transport belt. Making use of this system can reduce auxiliary times and avoid hard labor works. The handling system is made in stainless steel and can be combined with any Slicer.
A signal exchange with up- and downstream machines is possible.
